What is the Give to MUWCI Campaign?

On the occasion of our 25th anniversary, we are thrilled to launch our Give to MUWCI campaign. Over the next 8 weeks, we are aiming to raise USD 25,000 for our Student Scholarship Fund. Any contribution that you make to this Fund will allow us to attract and retain talented and deserving students from all over the world. 

Over the course of this campaign, we will also be highlighting some of the unique service learning projects led and accomplished by MUWCI students. As a core component of our flagship Triveni programme, service learning enables our students to cultivate a communitarian ethic by interacting with others, thinking cognitively about developmental issues, and searching for solutions to myriad problems affecting societies. Your support of Give to MUWCI will go a long way in encouraging students from all economic backgrounds to access such engaging and purposeful learning experiences.

Service learning at MUWCI

Service learning at MUWCI is meant to help students understand the common good in different life contexts. It is not just about serving others, but it is also about coming into an awareness of their own space in this world, how they impact others, and vice versa. Both ‘service’ and ‘learning’ are equally emphasized upon at MUWCI – through community service, students receive structured exposure to environments that develop their knowledge, perspective, and skills. Our students apply theoretical concepts in the real world, cultivate interpersonal skills, learn how to work with other individuals, gain exposure to diverse viewpoints, and ultimately expand their views of the world.

Service learning is an initiative towards transforming attitudes of our young learners, and to show them the value of being lifelong learners within their chosen communities. Students interact with our partner NGOs on issues pertaining to social justice, inequity, health and well-being, education, environment, and others. Our community engagement projects are curated in a manner that allows students to assume leadership and take active steps to address such issues.
