Guiding your higher educational journey

Personalised university guidance

Supporting students in finding their path to higher education and beyond

At MUWCI, our University Guidance Counselling Office provides personalised support to help students navigate their post-secondary journey. We work closely with each student, recognising their unique backgrounds, experiences, and aspirations, to guide them through the university search and application process.

Our goal is to ensure that every student finds a “best-fit” university where they can pursue their passions, thrive academically, and feel a strong sense of belonging.

Exploring global opportunities after MUWCI

The University Guidance Counselling Office is dedicated to helping students explore their interests, strengths, and career aspirations. Through individualised guidance, we assist with college research and application processes. Our approach emphasises self-discovery and informed decision-making, empowering students to take ownership of their future. Beyond academics, we focus on holistic development, ensuring students choose institutions where they can grow both intellectually and personally.

MUWCI students gain access to diverse higher education opportunities worldwide. More than 95% attend universities in the United States, with the support of the UWC-Davis Scholarship. While most students transition directly to university, some choose to take a gap or bridge year for personal growth and real-world experience. We fully support students who take this path, helping them find meaningful opportunities that foster independence, adaptability, and a deeper understanding of their goals before entering higher education.

Global university placements

Every year, the guidance office helps graduating students secure admission in highly respected colleges across the globe, with a majority of them being in the United States. Most of these colleges and universities cover all educational expenses for our students, seeing that our students carry with them values and experiences that make them an ideal candidate for a university education.

Today, MUWCI has close to 2800 alumni spread across the globe, with most of them either studying or settled in the US and UK.

MUWCI Profile for Universities

Universities can refer to the College Profile document linked here for an overview of MUWCI, what makes it unique, and the role of the guidance office.

Going against the trend and choosing to stay in Asia for University has been a great decision! My conversations with Faculty and the Guidance Office really magnified my passion for the environment and instilled courage to follow my convictions.
