Sustainability is at the core of the UWC mission - “ UWC makes education a force to unite peoples, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.” To achieve this, we undertake many practices that promote eco-awareness and sustainable live.

One of the projects our students love to work on is the on-campus organic farm. In partnership with the Gomukh Farming Cooperative, students have established this farm which provides them with the opportunity to learn about sustainable food production and soil management. When available, produce is served at the Cafeteria, sold at the weekly Organic Farmer’s market or used by students and faculty for community cooking events.
